I want to give a huge shoutout to our Flag Football Team!! Over the weekend, we had our first official game at Asphalt Green and we won 30-13! We are undefeated and have made our mark as a team throughout the league already. 

This game was special indeed! At half-time we were down 13-0 and during the second half after a team huddle and motivational conversation, our scholars were able to put up 30 straight points!!! ALL while keeping the other team from scoring as well! It was one of those games that “you just had to be there!” 

There were MULTIPLE MVP’s of the game. They are:

Andrew – St HOPE  — Andrew was a terror for the opposing team on the field last weekend as he led his team with touchdowns and multiple miraculous stops during pivotal moments in the game. St. Hopes 30-13 victory over Equality would not have been possible without Andrews clutch play making and sharp route running. Way to go Andrew!
